Brand identity and visual system for Zest — a coastal café concept rooted in freshness, sunlight, and slow living.

Zest is designed as a place where mornings begin slowly and energy builds naturally — through fresh food, ocean air, and a sense of calm community. The brand captures the feeling of a beachside morning: warm light, relaxed rhythms, and the bright optimism of starting the day.

At the center of the identity is a minimal lemon emblem, representing vitality, brightness, and natural freshness. The circular mark also mirrors the sun — a subtle reference to Goa’s coastal warmth and the sunlit atmosphere that defines the café experience.

The identity extends across multiple brand touchpoints, including take out bag, coffee cups, stickers, and social media templates, all unified by a restrained design system built around light photography, natural textures, and moments of coastal living.

ABOUT

The name Zest reflects the brand’s personality: vibrant, refreshing, and full of life. The visual language embraces this idea through a palette of soft beige, sandy neutrals, and sunlit yellow, evoking linen textures, warm beaches, and the glow of early morning light.

Typography and visuals were selected to be clean, modern, and approachable, keeping the brand contemporary while maintaining an organic, relaxed tone. Generous spacing and minimalist layouts and hand-drawn illustrations keep the visual identity calm and breathable — mirroring the unhurried experience of enjoying coffee or smoothies by the sea.
