Peddler Report – Toronto’s Mobile Markets

For the Peddler Report, I created a graphic novel-style project that illustrated Toronto’s mobile markets, providing an accessible visual interpretation of key research findings. The report highlighted the importance of these mobile markets in supplying fresh, affordable produce to low-income communities, often catering to culturally specific needs.

Through a series of comic strips and illustrations, I captured scenes of families eagerly waiting for the market trucks, interactions between shoppers and peddlers, and the significance of these markets in maintaining food security and sovereignty. My work helped bring the research findings to life, offering a creative way to communicate complex topics around food accessibility.
