DESIGN BRIEF

This project reimagined the traditional playing card as a multifunctional, collectible object. The challenge? To create a 3-in-1 puzzle card set that seamlessly combined a deck of cards, an interactive puzzle, and a poster—all within one cohesive visual system.

APPROACH

The concept centered on versatility. Each card was reversible, featuring gameplay graphics on one side and a fragment of a larger image on the other—allowing users to assemble a complete poster when all cards were flipped and aligned. The system emphasized both functionality and collectability, transforming an everyday object into a tactile design experience.

Careful attention was given to color calibration, alignment precision, and print-ready preparation, ensuring each piece fit flawlessly when assembled. The visual direction unified vibrant imagery with balanced grids, making the set equally engaging as a game, puzzle, or wall display.

RESULT

A design that blurred the line between object and artwork.
